question on motor mounts......
I am in the process of swapping an 84 crossmember into my 64. what motor mounts do i use since the mounting plates from the 84 are one inch taller than the 64s frame? The plates from the original straight six wont work will they? I am goin in with a 350 now. Thanks, Jared

Re: question on motor mounts......
'63-'72 small blocks and I6's all use the same motor mounts. The I6's just have a bracket that bolts to the block which in turn the motor mounts bolt to. On the small blocks, the motor mounts just bolt directly to the block. The motor mount brackets that bolt between the frame and crossmember are the same for small blocks and the 230/250 I6 from '63-'66.
