One Piece Driveshaft

Is there any driveshaft out of another truck that will fit in a 86 2wd swb if i put a short tail 350 in it. Thanks

What are you pulling out? Can't remember if it was a short tail, but I swapped a 350 for a 700r4. Folks kept saying I'd probably have to get the shaft shortened, but I got lucky and it fit right in.

Find a driveshaft shop where you're at and give them a call. Ask them what measurement they'll need. I would think you could get a little longer one and have them cut it down. Heck, you might get lucky and they have something laying around the shop for cheap.
