Re: Drop specs?
Approximately 5" drop.
This truck has a leaf spring flip. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=488097

Re: Drop specs?
Okay, so 5 in front and 5 in back= rake still there, but 3 in coils in front and 5 in flip out back = level truck. i'm planning on running my stock steelies, not sure on tire size yet planning on doing hot rod satin black with steelies and white walls. What are your thoughts on 3/5??
Had a buddy lower my first truck in highschool, he lowered it and I drove it! new to doin these things myself started by building my 383 now on to the other things. thanks for the info brotha!!

Re: Drop specs?
Only thing I would suggest would be to do a 2.5 spindle and a 1" coil up front rather than the 3" coil. Spindles give a much better ride than drop springs and if you decide to go lower later (it happens...) you'll have one less thing to buy.

Re: Drop specs?
x2. Do spindles & trim the current coils or get 1" drop units.
