Re: Post pics of your Neat Old Stuff!
I rediscovered my childhood train set a few years back. As a result, my toy train passion was rekindled and I began to acquire antique rolling stock.
This working locomotive and its tender are model No. 6 Lionel Standard Gauge , built sometime between 1918 and 1923.

This was my Mom's stove. It is a 1948 Wedgewood. I still use it, I cooked a Thanksgiving turkey in it last Thursday. There is no pilot for the oven, it has to be lit with a match.

Probably that picture was taken at our Old Threshers and there is a friend of mine that has a set of 30 series. That kinda looks like his old 930 not positive though

Re: Post pics of your Neat Old Stuff!
Nice hammer. You don't find many good old hand tool like that these days.
I sure like that MM peddle tractor (and wagon). I like all that stuff. I never found a peddle tractor to suit me. It has to be special like that one. I did cut my grass with an early John Deere 110. I had two, matter of fact, and an old dump trailer. I regretfully sold them during a tight spot. The meadow by my house got sold and my yard got so cut up with landscaping I just push mow it now. I did have an early Lawn Boy "Iron Horse"...the type with the exhaust in the mower deck, offset front wheels...they were red,the deck was metallic green, and the motor was copper. I still have the pull start cover with iron horse head hanging on my barn. I like to collect a couple small things, like watch fobs for construction equipment and little oilers:

Re: Post pics of your Neat Old Stuff!
lots of cool old stuff in here!
heres some of my stuff, I like wall mount bottle openers (old patina'd ones) they look good in the back of old trucks! I like this brass on I found the best. heres an old cap gun I found at an estate sale I had to have and my pedal car and wagons (plan to restore the pedal car for my baby boy who is due mat 25th!) I know this wagon isnt too old, it does have metal wheels but it has the plastic ball joint in the arm.

Re: Post pics of your Neat Old Stuff!
I like those, too. The Squirt one is next to the refrigerator in the kitchen, the newish Coke one is in my picnic house (I made a cap catcher from a coffee can),and the black Coke one is in my shop. I painted it in the '70s with wrinkle paint and had it mounted on the dash of my old Power Wagon.

Re: Post pics of your Neat Old Stuff!
Just tonight I got a old wheel balancer that I traded for some old Volvo glass.
Its on our shelf in the living room. Till it gets noticed there then it will go out in my shop.

Re: Post pics of your Neat Old Stuff!
OK, for all you haters out there how 'bout some good ol' speed parts. I know it's Ford/merc stuff, but you gotta love vintage speed parts.

Re: Post pics of your Neat Old Stuff!
Speaking of Squirt,my girlfriend and me were at an antique mall and this one dealer had all kinds of service station and advertising stuff,as well as collectible toy vehicles...my kind of stuff. He had a Squirt cooler I wish I could justify spending money on. I've been out of buying mode and into selling mode for a while now due to being underemployed for so long. It's hard cuz I still love the stuff. I saw a cool '50s BMC peddle car for sale the other day on Craigslist for very reasonable. It drives me crazy!! If it was $25 it would be more than I should spend right now. Gotta keep the lights on.
Here's some more stuff. First,a tin box I keep matchbooks I've collected from interesting places, then some Tootsietoys:

Re: Post pics of your Neat Old Stuff!
I'm into old stuff just don't have a lot of it. I really enjoy antique shopping. I guess dad got me started somewhat on Coleman Lanterns and since then, I have really been to alot of antique malls and flea markets. It really made me realize how cool the old stuff is. My parents have a few pieces that are full of family history. That I would really like to have when they are done with them.

Just a few bikes for now. I have other old stuff like lanterns, fans, gas cans, etc.
The last one is my current project. A 38 Hawthorne.

Re: Post pics of your Neat Old Stuff!
Nah I tried and it didn't work. Its actually the one with the pink springer on it. Need to get the rear wheel trued on it and then I'll decide which way to go with it.
