front suspension info needed.

What all gets removed from a stock front suspension to prepare for it to be bagged? What components stay and what goes?

Re: front suspension info needed.

That depends on the air ride kit you are going to buy. They range from using stock upper and lower control arms to drop members and tubular control arms. When you decide on a kit you will know what to remove.

Re: front suspension info needed.

I purchased a truck and need to go pick it up yet. The kid said he had the pads welded on for air bags. Would the spring coils be the only thing removed? If I wanted to put it back, I'm assuming all I'd need is to cut off the air bag pads/mounts and install spring coils......... but I'm not 100% sure?

Re: front suspension info needed.

If you know exactly what you want to do with it and post some pics of the suspension in its current state it would be easier for us to help you out.

Yeah, I agree. I'm hoping to bring it home tomorrow. If I do, I'll evaluate the truck and have a much better idea what I've got and what better to ask of you guys. I'll keep you posted........ don't go far. LOL!
