Where to get new steering box?
I'm wanting to get a new steering box for my '75 chevy 4x4 1/2 ton (converted to 3/4 ton) due to about 1/4 to 1/2 turn of play in the wheel. Are aftermarket ones avialable or only remanufactured boxes? What are the prices ranges? Any suggestions where to get them NAPA, LMC, etc?

Most I've seen have been remanufactured ones. I think the one in the LMC catalog is a remanufactured one. PartsAmerica.com sells a remanufactured A1 Cardone one for $170 plus $60 core charge. I think the AGR one in the Summit Catalog is a brand new one, but it over $300. I think Mike "Swervin" bought one of those.
