What holds the wiper post to the cowl?
Sorry, you can start to see I took zero notes when I took my truck apart 3 years ago. Now it's going back together and my memory is failing me.
I installed the new wiper motor and arms today but what holds the wiper spindle post thing to the cowl? I see a hole that goes through the cowl. Is it just like maybe a 1/4-20 bolt? Jeff '59 Chevy Fleetside

Re: What holds the wiper post to the cowl?
I believe a chrome nut screws onto the post. Post, Cowl, Nut screws on to hold the post, wiper arms go next onto the post..

There's a triangular shaped bezel that goes on before the nut. There's also a rubber gasket shaped like the bezel that goes on first.

Re: What holds the wiper post to the cowl?
ok, thanks. I looked in the catalogs but don't see the bezel or gasket. I'll give them a call.
