Driveline Angle Question-Please Help!

I have a call into Nate Porter but I went and got a angle finder and I'm inpatient.....(if you read this Nate, I havent gave you these numbers yet and not 2nd guessing you)

All numbers are from Transmission going to rear of truck

Trans Angle is .5 down
1st Shaft is 7 up to carrier bearing

2nd Shaft is 4 down to Pinion
Pinion Angle is 4 up to axle

Not sure if I'm explaining this right....but it's basically a W.

Is that 5 down or .5 down?

Also the way you are explaining the rear would equate to a zero degree operating angle, as 4 down on the shaft and 4 up on the pinion would make them perfectly in line. I will still plan on calling you back tomorrow afternoon like we discussed to explain a few things and confirm some of the angles. There will need to be a few changes if your numbers are accurate.

It's .5, like almost dead straight. Then it's 7 up to the carrier bearing, which leads me to believe the 2" spacer I put in there is to high.

From the Carrier bearing to the front of the pinion is 4 degrees down and then the pinion is 4 degrees up again. So it's a V....

I'm guessing I'm not measuring angles..in the right direction....all measurements are taken front front of truck to rear of truck. Same numbers just different way or saying or reading it I'd think.
