Mcgaughys 6072 spindles
I have some Mcgaughys classic drop spindles with 6072R and 6072L cast into them. From what I have gathered by searching these fit a wide variety of trucks.....how do I know for sure which year these are for? They came with a 1972 project truck i recently got and relisted for sale but it has 1986 front suspension.
Thanks Brad

Re: Mcgaughys 6072 spindles
Check the fit with a ball joint or outer tie rod end.
That's the only way to know for sure.

Re: Mcgaughys 6072 spindles
I have the same drop spindles - 73-87 front swap. They'll work. Mine is from and 84. BTW, they're for 1.25" rotors and the bearings / seals are different for 1" and 1.25" rotors.
