Lightbulb CrewCab thoughts

Its late and I should be asleep but...Would it be any eaiser to use a 73-91 CrewCab structure and skin it with with the body of your choosing.

It would give you a pre-built A/B/C pillar. Crew cab floor and a inner roof panel. just cut out the firewall, outer roof and back wall, outer rockers and stitch your favorite body back on. I know this would be a huge undertaking but so is building a crew cab.

So what do you guys think?
Do I just need to go to sleep or would this be a viable option?
