Dome Light

I know, I have thousand questions.

How is the switch for the Dome Light?
My Truck has no door contact.

Re: Dome Light

FYI – the dome light operates by controlling the ground at the switch. The lamp has power all the time, and the ground connects to a rheostat on the headlight switch. Knowing this can help if you have to debug a bad circuit.

Also, if you want to add door switches, here’s an article on how to add them. I followed this process and it works perfectly. You need the exact switch indicated, since almost all others do not have a long enough shank. It’s very nice having door switches.
