Factory 10 lug w/ IFS???
I saw on eBay a little while back a guy had a truck set up with 10 lugs and a Dana 70 he said came out of an RV chassis. I am curious as to the validity of it and where to look for such a thing. I'm in the process of gathering parts to finally get my 1966 one ton on the road and thought it would be a good candidate for a running gear swap.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated as always!

Re: Factory 10 lug w/ IFS???
I don't know of any 73-87 that came with 10 lug rims, however I do know that the 91-01 3500HD trucks (88-98 body style) were 10 lug but they had a solid I beam front axle. Also, 89-97 Ford F Super Duty trucks had a similar setup.

Re: Factory 10 lug w/ IFS???
Yes, P chassis units had dana 70 HD's with 10 lug and uaually have 19.5's on them. Most were spring suspension, but i'm sure there were air ride ones in the later years. These P chassis units are normally under motor homes and medium duty GM trucks. I have one sitting at home for my Dad's 47 Dodge project.

Re: Factory 10 lug w/ IFS???
The rear axle came from a 88 P-30 chassis RV.
