I had mine recovered locally with extra thick and dense foam for $250, but I doubt I could get it done at that price again. If I had it to do over, I would definitely buy a late model seat from a 2000 up Silverado or Sierra and fab some brackets to fit it in. I have seen these seats at junkyards in good shape for $250 +. The downside is that you will likely have a seat that sits up higher due to the extra height of the mounting bracket mods.
