An old friends parts truck
I just bought this old chevy 4x4 from a friend that has been in the family since before I was born. This truck belonged to an army buddy of dads that he had used since he was 16. I bought the truck and all contents from him for $300. and it is running and has a solid frame and drive train. Anyway, I found some photos of the truck from the early 70s and thought I would post them up for the world before the truck is scavenged.
The truck in its prime, and as it sits today It has seen its days and will help keep my 84 on the road though |

i dont think that first photo is from the 70's because look at the newer (88-98 body style) truck in the background

The 3rd pic isn't from the 70's either, no 4 wheelers in the 70's.

Yeah
I think 82 was the first year. That looks like a late 80's wheeler... Posted via Mobile Device

Re: An old friends parts truck
I would think that the amount of rust and wear and tear on the truck plus the hats and mustaches puts these photos in the early 90's. The owners sure got there money's worth out of it.
