67 E Brake cable ?

I've transplanted a 87 diff under my 67 1 ton, but the one E brake cable part that I'm looking for seems to be non existant.
I need a connector to join the primary cable (threaded end) to the regular E-brake cable butt end (intermediate cable)

The donor truck uses an adjuster in the back (This also ties the two cables together) The original '67, uses an intermediate cable that loops both sides together, so the primary cable pulls on a loop. (With the adjuster in the front)

Is there a piece made that will work for my needs to join the threaded cable to a single butt end?

You might look at Lokar products.
Off hand I can't think of an exact match to what you need.

Anyone else?

Re: 67 E Brake cable ?

The mod I did on my truck was to cut off the end and weld a bolt on to it. Then a made a piece out of flat stock that I bent up on both sides to hold the intermediate loop on one side and a hole on the other side for my bolt to pass through. Put a nut on and adjust.
