remove shackle pins

Sill tearing down the 56… having difficulties removing the shackle pins from the fixed bracket.




Already smacked it with a hammer, but besides some sparks coming off, I don’t see anything move …
Did some searches, and found something about heating them up, so the rubber would melt … but I don’t think there is anything ‘rubber’ between the pin and the bushing
Anybody some tips on how to remove them ?

I thought only the earlier '50 models have treaded pins ... tried it Yesterday, and indeed, they screw out ...
