Getting my first truck back!! (stoked)

Well I got this truck when I was 14. And pulled out the 305/700r4/np208 and put a 350/sm465/np205 in there lifted it and obviously lots of little things. I then drove it for 6 months with gas at $3.75 and sold it for a car cause I was broke. Now that car got stolen which being 16 and always ear if everything I have had, was a huge set back. It's been exactly a year since then and I have 2 crewcabs (1 is an on going project but with some money it will be done till the next rebuild in a couple months). And a commuter car. I was at school browsing craigslist and on my first search and first click I came accross my old truck by accident. And now I'm buying it back on Sunday. Since I sold it, it's been ran hard. Got 8 lug axles and a big block. This won't be a project (except little things and tires.. Just wanted to share my excitement!!!

When I got it 3 years ago

When I had it 1.5 years ago

That's great man! I wish I could find my first '73 that I sold 12 years ago, but I am sure it has probably been melted down by now.

Yeah. I know it hasn't been long. But most people don't get the chance to get there first truck back once they realize they should have kept it. So I rather not pass it up

Congratulations man, that's awesome! I'd give anything to have my first truck back, it was a CHERRY '63 GMC, beautiful truck. Like you, bought it when I was 14, drove it everyday for 5 years, and then like a total retard, traded it for a Toyota (that turned out to be a POS)...if the chance ever comes around to get my truck back, I aint never lettin it go again!!

Congrats man, I'm still kicking myself in the ass for getting rid of my 78 K10... Sold it and got a Ford F250.....

The things I'd do to have my Chevy back.. ugh..

Well here she is... Runs good.. Need to sell my tbi crewcab. Get some meats for it and air bags. Until I restore it back to original I'll just run it as is.

Do y'all think I should run tires like that (37's) or some 35's... I like the stuffed look and it won't get wheeled. But I'll use this for pulling so smaller tires may be better
