Power up and down tailgate ?
Anyone build a power up and down tailgate ? I couldn't see one on the board but was looking for some ideas. I have given it some thought and want something differnt but it has to be strong enought to park my butt on when it's down too. Anyone seen anything or have any ideas ?

Re: Power up and down tailgate ?
I few years ago, I built one using a power window motor and regulator. I mounted it on one side and left the stock support on the other. Mine was a 1970 LWB. PM me,if you are interested, and I can try to send along a drawing of how I built mine, including the wiring diagram.
