Hey, does anyone have an extra???
I have a 1979 Chevy pickup... no kidding uh...
I really really really need the drivers side electric window switch. The one that is a two switch for both doors. If you need a pic I will post.... I went to Autozone and Pep Boys and O' Reily's auto parts, but they just have a general GM one... Mine has a different post pattern on the back.... I have been looking for a long time... Appreciate any help at all!!! Thanks |

Have you tried LMC or ChevyDuty? LMC lists one for 77-81 application, part # 36-0754. It sells for $84.95. I think most places like Autozone, NAPA sell the 82-87 version, which has different connections.

the old GM part number for that is #1725092 I believe. It may be superceded by a newer number or N/A but worth a check. DAVE

Classic Industries (www.classicindustries.com) has one for a 1977-81 (part # G6897 - original GM) for $82.95. I've ordered from these guys before, and the service is great!

Well, in the NAPA book it's not listed for 79, but 81-84....it looks just like that, with 6 prongs on the back....its is 31.99. You should be able to get one at any NAPA.

hahahaha I can get a NEW one at my Chevy dealer, he said 56 I think. That # up above is a good # still.....1725092....call your local Chevy parts counter and tell them you need that # and see how much they will sell it to you for.
OR, go to www.gmpartsdirect.com and type in that #. They have it for 46.28. |
