72 burb build

This is my first C10 chassis build, I have done quite a few air ride builds and minitrucks so here we go...

Heres a rendering by a friend of mine and some pics of the last few days.. Got the motor out and I have her mostly "degreased" and cleaned up. Have a lot of shiny stuff on order for the motor, expect my PB dropmember within 2 weeks or so (ordered 7 days ago) got some ART control arms already, mustang 2 rack and pinion is on the way as well. the next month will be lots of work...

and progress no real good pics yet since none of the fun stuff has begun.

And the wheels i plan on orderin in 24x9.5 with 6.5" backspace

Re: 72 burb build

Yeah dude I drove it for about a week after I bought it. surprisingly everything so far is in great shape, found a tiny bit of rust where the driver fender meets the door and a tiny bit inside the doors but nothing crazy.

Re: 72 burb build

No prob capev... Not sure if I want to shave them or maybe make a slimmed down tinted version.. Anyway

Since the engine is out I was able to CLEAN it pretty damn well, got a new intake mani on from summit and I have some shiny things on the way this weekend.

Today I wrapped up ordering suspension stuff.

Heres what I already recieved

Air Ride Tech upper and lower control arms with 73+ ball joints
Viair 444c dual pack (for backup air)
3/8" copper hardline
10 3/8 tube x 3/8" npt PTC fitings (which i might not need)

Heres what I am expecting in the next 10 days

PB Dropmember
Mustang rack and pinion with linkage
PB hood hinges
PB rear notch
Accuair VU4 valve manifold
Accuair Switchspeed controller and pressure switch
4 Slam SS7s
A decent amount of Prestolock fittings
2 water traps

I still need to figure out what tank i want to run and thats about it.. Cant wait to get all this stuff and get to work!!

Re: 72 burb build

Not much going on other than waiting on all my goodies to get here. Got some nice new valve covers and some billet pulleys from the early bird swap meet and a 6 dollar carb lift plate... Still need to clean up the fire wall, get some filler plates for the heater stuff...
