will the 66 body and bed fit a 72 frame? if not what are the reasons.Thanks

The frames are similar enough that the 'early' body can fit w/some mods:

Accomodate for these differences & the body will swap over.

Radiator core support mounts are not in the same location. Front edge of frame horns are a different physical shape. Front edge of frame rails are @ a slightly different height.
