Looks Great! Love the bucket seats too! What trans and transfer case combo did you use with your lq9 engine? I am wanting to swap a lq4 into mine. I have a 3/4ton 4x4 72 suburban.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
thanks! I ended up going with a 40L60 and a NP208. it's nice having that 4th gear. At 1500 rpm I'm cruising at 60 mph and getting better gas mileage.

BennettGM, I would love to see more pictures of your burb. Did you move the axle forward on the 86 frame?

Hi Jeremy - if I remember correctly we shortened the frame by about 3 inches.

I don't mean to keep bothering you, but I have a couple of other ?'s. What front axle are you using and did you have too use an adaptor with the 208 transfer case? Would love to see more pics it looks like you tok your time and did a real nice clean job! Thanks again for sharing!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
the front is a dana 44 and the tranny is a 4L60E with a late 80's transfer case (np208) flipped over and hooked directly to the tailstock

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
Hello! Newbie here - new to the forum and restoration in general. Always dreamed of playing with an old truck, and then found this one on ebay last month and dove in. It runs good and seems pretty solid, but don't know any history at all. Won't be able to do anything with it until after May, so until then I'll just drool over all of yours here. Looking forward to figuring out how much I'll get into with it, and then figuring things out as I go. I'm sure I'll need help!!

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Burbans!
Welcome to the board. You will have a lot of fun fixing the Burb up. Just take your time. What year is it? You do not see these on the road any more. (Very seldom) I had a really nice 70 Burb and had it all done just like I wanted then I sold it. Kicked myself ever since. Again, welcome.
