Before and after-84 K10-Work in Progress

Just got some new wheels put on (15x10wagon wheels for free) and painted the lower half high gloss white, and the grille white

thinking about taking the Headache rack and toolbox off of it-dunno yet, those lights come in handy at night, decisions decisions

Thinking about adding a cab band to the back, and painting the roof white-any opinions?

here are some before photos

and some afters- spent a good 3 hours painting and getting tires

Wondering if it would look better without the toolbox and rack

I think it is looking better with the 81 grille though-don't see to many around now a days.

Just got done putting PT cruiser seats in it too. alot better than the bench

will post pics of that later

Nice truck and good progress.

Where are your front turn signal lamps?

Thanks Rusty

Very good question
I replaced the oem grill etc, just forgot to get a set of replacement turn signals.

I may just get some amber LED strips and put them in the front somewhere, I still have the turn signal houses, no place to mount them though

Re: Before and after-84 K10-Work in Progress

just finished painting the roof, adding a cab band, and installing the LUND sunvisor

paint was $12,(one can had a broken nozzle-can't swap it for one that works unfortunately)

Toolbox is off right now, I think I may just leave it off though, gives me a lot more room for when I load furniture, lumber or any number of things

Think the white looks alot better, and helps break up the gold

I thought the visor wouldn't help, but it actually does help! I don't have to drop the big old visors in the cab! meaning I won't accidentaly knock the rear view off every sunny day

here are some befores

some durings

and some after

Re: Before and after-84 K10-Work in Progress

got a gun rack from an older chevy, pretty neat as it is all metal and coated in a rubber material, not like the cheap plastic stuff out there now a days lol
Going to hang my fishing poles up there for now

longbed with wood inside, it wass all rotted out, Think it would look good on the back of mine, but the wood is almost gone

making some progress...just need to get it running straight.

my new toy, Italian Beretta 92Centurion, refinished in Socom Black and a glat grey lower, new barrel with polished feed ramp and barrel, new trigger,D rings, wolff spring kit, and skeleton hammer. Shoots great too!

My niece got me a magnet for the back, I think I'll keep it

on the way home from the yard
