Upper Shock Mount
I'm working on lowering my '84 GMC C1500. I've got my lower control arms off so far. When I went to remove the upper shock bolt it just sheared right off...What now??

Re: Upper Shock Mount
Get the stud out of the frame (it's threaded w/a nut on the inside of the frame rail). Most replacement shocks come w/new studs or they can be purchased through many local auto parts places.

Re: Upper Shock Mount
oh good I was hoping it would be something easy, I hadn't dug under the hood I was tired after wrenching off those rusty old control arm bolts by hand!
