Re: Project Budget Build

Oh man its been a while since Ive posted but Ive kinda done a lot. So I still havent put my lowering springs on but I did aquire a bunch of new parts. Well a whole new truck actually. I traded an old tent I got for free for a 1970 Long box. Ill be swapping a bunch of parts in the coming weeks. For now though my yard has been flooded for a few days with more rain on the way. I just got promoted to a new position at work so now I work monday through Friday 6am till 2:30pm with WEEKENDS OFF!! Steady schedule means steady progress. As soon as the clouds clear Ill be installing a whole bunch of parts!

List of fun stuff Ill be installing:

Factory Tilt Column
Gauge Cluster with FACTORY TACH!!
All new suspension

Power Brakes

Disc brakes up front

Posi Rear end

2" lowerning springs Although I think I might spring for lowering spindles...

Step Side short box

Anybody have any other suggestions on things I should do while I have all these things taken apart?

Heres a few pics of the New Free truck Im swappin parts off of and the old tent I traded for it.... Yes it runs Started up PERFECT and I got the title in hand!

What headers did you purchase? I can't get anything to fit on my 70 C10 SB for some reason.
