Talking New score* 70 GMC Jimmy

Going to pick this up next week. Bought it sight unseen
I just received these pictures today.. Looks like it is totally STOCK and with high hopes of a tac dash and tilt. Didnt want to ask toooo many questions as the price would have gone up! The doors say Custom and it has the woodgrain molding. I am dreaming that there is a fully loaded Jimmy waiting in Calif for me! This is a 1, count um ONE owner Blazer! Its been sitting since 1996 as Im told. When it was parked it had 30k on the rebuilt motor and they say it starts right up.

:p

Good for you! I hope it is all that you are hoping for! I know you've been looking for a while. You could rent a trailer and tow it home. I fit my blazer on a trailer, just make sure it is wide! Good luck to ya!

Its only 250 miles. If I make it 150, AAA can take it the balance of the way.. I can't wait for next week! This is gonna be like Christmas!

Amazing find. I'm not gonna ask the obvious question. I just imagine what kind of finds there are out in the great west. If I can ever get another, I want a Jimmy.

Awesome! It's exciting for all of us when someone gets another project to talk about.

I'm jealous! Looks like a great score. Keep us updated on the condition once you get it home.

Red face

Looks like a great restoration candidate.

There are not too many '70 Jimmys left, and that one would be cool restored to stock specs.

One problem I see is that it isn't ochre.

My guess is that the REALLY hot sun faded it from Ochre to the orange. I hope to see Ochre on the glovebox sheet! That is my favorite Blazer color! and Truck!
