i was wondering

I was wondering if anybody has ever used a clyinder style gas tank or like a keg stlye fuel tank. I just bought a new behind the seat tank and I want to get it out of there. can I get some pics

i've only seen the kegs on rat rods or very old hot rods. Like the idea. For our trucks, I really like the idea of a big arse gas tank disguised in plain sight as a crusty old bed mounted tool box (you know, like right behind and below the rear cab window). Hmm... sure would hold a lot o gas! As for safety, I guess it's equally as safe as a keg - or an IN CAB TANK!

I'll let you know what I think shortly cause I've got one going in my bed Thursday. It's a 1961 Schlitz 15 & a half gallon keg. It looks pretty cool now but eventually after we've gotten the bugs worked out I'm having an aircraft style fuel filler welded in & a show polish put on it. I hope it looks as good in person as it does in my head.

This is in the bed of my 70, but it's not connected. It's a 50 Gallon from a 1974 GMC 6500.
