does anyone have pic's how this muffler strap is supposed to look mounted to the exhaust/muffler from the factory? is the strap part of this pic complete or has it been cut off? leaf spring truck. i need these so i want to make sure i know what im looking for. Rod.

i bought this nos muffler strap and i think it may be what im looking for. its for 396 part #3933293 GR.3.704. if anyone can confirm that this is the part that is cut off above that would be great. i am in need of another for my duals if you have one as well. Rod.

We Have done a couple coil spring trucks but never a a leaf truck. A coil spring truck does not have straps on the muffler itself (atleast I hope it don't,or I did mine wrong)

So, my question is, You are asking about straps for the muffler and not for the pipe, correct?

yes the muffler. I am trying to run a stock looking exhaust and just wanted to see pictures of the muffler straps.

Is this for a long bed? I think the long bed has 2 sets of hangers on the cross frame. I know the short bed has only 1 set if hangers that mounts to the cross frame

I have an original big block shortbed and my bracket doesn't look like those! I have seen those on longbed BB trucks

the truck these were from was a short bed 402 truck.
