GM parts wiki
I think I have finally found a source for official GM part numbers. If you have the correct GM OEM part number it makes your search for a part much easier, especially when using google, ebay, amazon, etc. You fill in your part name in the box at the bottom of the screen, then fill in the particulars of your vehicle on the next page. I found the OEM GM part number for my one year only 83 turn signal lever with cruise control switch quickly. It looks like an online collection of various GM parts catalogs.

Re: GM parts wiki
Yup. I scanned all six 73-91 catalogs at xmas 2011. 7000 pages of GM squarebody goodness and some G series van love too. Ian hosted them.
Perhaps we could put his site in the FAQ? Hope I'm not getting too big for my britches by asking... |

Re: GM parts wiki
Thank You hatzie - you are a credit to the square community and an example to us all. I think we need a permanent research link somewhere - include AC Delco catalog for pigtails and harnesses and OEM online vendors for GM parts.
