From what I have seen and read over the years I'm willing to bet that the fawn is correct and original for your truck. The rivets look fine. From the pictures I'd say you have a nice, fairly original truck. If it were me I'd start tracking down the moldings and think about putting them back on. Campers are out there and if you wanted to, a period rig could be reassembled.
