Gas fuse box/cab wiring and Diesel engine harness

are the fuse block the same for the gas trucks as the diesel?

the orginal fuse box was melted and i havent been able to find one from a diesel in good condtion so i have a gas one but will that work ?

as far i can see most of it is only power wires thats from fuses that contects to it the rest of the harnes goes through other harnesses

Yes and No. They share many of the same circuits but there are Diesel specific wires. Fortunately some of the diesel specific circuits don't go through the bulkhead plug.

Are any harnesses on the engine compartment side damaged?

Do you know what caused the meltdown? Make sure you find it and fix the problem especially if it's not in the wiring you're replacing. You don't want to have a bad day later. The Fusible link should prevent this type of catastrophe. Make sure "that guy" didn't replace it with straight wire.

If the panel is melted how much of the harness is affected? Depending on the extent of the damage you could mix a replacement gasoline cab harness with the existing diesel harness to make your rig complete.
