Need some info on mounting the bed to the frame

Whats going on everyone. Im a new to the site and i would like to pick your brains on this situation. My dad and i are doing a frame up restoration on his pro-street 77 chevy. We had a local shop in va do the work on the frame. Full air ride setup and a few mods. We also had them raise the bed floor. From what they said they just cut and raised it. Now the issue is that we cant get in touch with the guy to make the parts to mount the bed to the frame for whatever reason. So we are gonna figure it out are selfs. But since we are new to the whole raising the bed mod. Id figure i would post and get everyones input on what they would do. I was thinking using solid body mounts then run the bolt through those.

Build a tube frame to fill the gap?
You could weld it to the bed and bolt the whole thing to the frame with some welded on tabs...

Any other ideas? The guys that did the work on the frame said that they make like a rode and thread on both ends then bolt everything down. But I'm trying to find an easier way. This is the only thing holding us up. Lol

this would be your best bet. would be like a truss system the bolts to both the bed and frame. both strong and cool. using body lift blocks or treaded rod would be weak and the bed would wiggle around.
