Re: Just wondering
Im down here in Texas , and i just wanted to know because when i search the internet for long step sides i can only find about two or three different pics im guessing they were more of work trucks than a regular driving truck I think i have the 9 ft bed from what ive read but not sure of it.... I know a lot of people don't like the long beds especially the step but in my opinion i think it has some potential of looking good with the extra wheels on the step

Re: Just wondering
In my own experience I’ve only seen 2-3 long bed stepsides - ever, which to me indicates they were never very popular or common. The only ones I ever saw belonged to utility companies, as if they were bought for some specific purpose.
When these trucks were new most stepside buyers wanted a short bed, and most fleetside buyers wanted the long bed either for capacity or to haul a camper. Since very few long steps were ever built, they are certainly rare today and seem more popular than ever before.

Re: Just wondering
yea i figured it was more of a work truck but hopefully at the end it will come out looking good, and it feels good having such an uncommon body style truck....... and thanks i made the white walls myself, when i get her painted ill put the rally's back on there and buy some decent looking white walls cause honestly those white walls i made only look good from about nine feet away

Re: Just wondering
I think mine was used for something like that cause the tailgate is pretty beat up and so is the roof like if they carried pipes or wood on it
and thanks bama63

Re: Just wondering
Tragic if it was a bit closer i probably could use some of those parts, and would they even get much at scrap yard?
