Parts Interchange help!!!!!

What I've got; 1973 short/fleet.... 3 on the tree, no a/c,disc brakes (not power)

1984-1986 c-10 van.......

73 has a shotty 305

What im shooting for;
350/350 swap from van into c-10
Power Disc Brakes

Parts im hoping interchange;
Radiator
Steering column
Brake pedal assembly
Master cylinder/brake booster
Sway bar
Wheels
Possibly rear end
Transmission crossmember

If I've left something out don't hesitate to let me know..... Im going for the engine/transmission swap,the automatic conversion, and the power Disc brake upgrade..... Help,comments,suggestions......anything to help me avoid problems up ahead.....

Re: Parts Interchange help!!!!!

the motor and trans will go right in.. Im reasonably certain its the same power booster that would be there in the pickup. I dont think the pedals will work but i could be wrong but for the conversion you dont need to do the pedal swap.. you can just remove the clutch pedal and call it good im not sure about any of the other parts

Re: Parts Interchange help!!!!!

i'm pretty sure that the steering column is gonna be too short and the van frame is wider than the truck frame. the wheels will work

Parts im hoping interchange;
Radiator-----------------------Most possibly
Steering column---------------Not even close
Brake pedal assembly----------c above
Master cylinder/brake booster--c above
Sway bar----------------------Just might
Wheels------------------------BOLT ON
Possibly rear end---------------Nope
Transmission crossmember------Notta, But you don't need one anyway, just move your current one back....

If I've left something out don't hesitate to let me know..... Im going for the engine/transmission swap,the automatic conversion, and the power Disc brake upgrade..... Help,comments,suggestions......anything to help me avoid problems up ahead.....

As a side note, the brake pedal is diff from a power brake truck to a non power brake truck.

My plan would be buy the van, remove motor/trans/radiator. Sell the column to the 67-72 guys, scrap the rest and buy the correct parts you need ...

So, what's different with the pedal from power to non power. I swapped and only had to change the push rod. No stopping issues at all. I do understand the difference from auto and manual trans pedal.

From what Ive noticed its the throw length and the size of the hole where it connects to the pedal.
