You dont list specs of the motor, but mechanical will likely work fine. I chose to run an electric pump because I had issues with vapor lock in the SW heat. For reliability reasons, I prefer a mechanical pump. With an electric, you will need a separate fuel pressure regulator. Give Summit a call and they will spec a pump for your motor.
You probably dont need a spacer but some motors gain a few top end HP with them. You sacrifice low end power with them. I would just go with the dual plane you have and see (cheap experiment). As for the box diagram, MSD has VERY good instructions. Go here and type in your model number. http://www.msdignition.com/instructiondownload.aspx |

Curious,,,, what dual plane intake have you found for a dominator ,, that's assuming a Dominator. Otherwise ,, what 1050 cfm 4150 style carb is this. I know Prosystems and Braswell make 1000cfm , and Patricks new SV1 can be had in some HUGE cfm's. but just curious why such a large cfm carb and a dual plane intake??????
and of course.,,,, why a 1050?? it really need that much CFM? just asking.

I was thinking the same thing. A 1050 Dominator and a dual plane intake seem contradictory. That would have to be one healthy 468 to need a 1050. A 750 cfm carb is sufficient for most mild to moderately built 468's

700hp is a big #. Is this running on race fuel and does it have big heads on it. Everything seems to contradict them selves. Big carb on a duel plane with a high rmp range. Your gonna need a 4500 flange open plenum for that 1050 and probably have power range in the upper rpm level. Justbrain storming here not bashing. Are you gonna use it on the street or strip

Re: just put in the 468 in the c10..need help
Still a lot of questions here, but at face value,, for a 700 hp motor that is being ran at it's potential.... I'd not use anything less than a 250GPH pump and a QUALITY return style regulator, and an8 line. Ive ran 600-650 motors on an6 and 110gph pumps but it appears to be about the limints with data logging fuel PSI. The fuel want sto stay at the starting line on a hard launch and if your pumping all the way from the back,, fuel consumption of a real 700HP motor,,,, best to be safe rather than sorry.
Heres a page of real helpfull stuff on fuel systems. http://www.centuryperformance.com/fu...e-spg-140.html

K I pulled the valve covers and motor has 781 heads....so I am personally thinking it doesn't have more than 550.... so sorry for the false info....
