New shop truck

Made a deal on this one today. 1963 C-20 w/coil spring rear. Real solid with original rockers, floor, cab corners. Has had minor repair to front fenders. Needs bed wood. Drives great, solid 282 with 4 speed. PO thought clutch was going out, because release brg is noisey. Got TH400 I'll put in it when it goes. Hopefully a DD for now, not much planned except clean up,maintain and drive.

Re: New shop truck

Thanks guys, I am pleased. Price was $1800 and drove home(only 20 miles) it is remarkably straight, and most likely the least rusted I have ever had! LOL! Missed getting to tag office today, so will wait til Monday to do much driving/testing. so far it's all pretty good.

That's the ultra rare "daylight bed" option! LOL reduces wear on rear springs.
Never have figured why if a little bit of the wood is bad, people think removing all of it is an answer.....
