air bag question

Can you not replace your springs w/bags and air them up like "air shocks" to lower/raise Stance? No pumps or tanks....less $...

Re: air bag question

Using a schrader valve. You have to figure out a way to air up though.

Re: air bag question

There are lots of people running schrader valves. You will still want gauges so you know what pressure you are running per bag and bring a bike pump with you

You could even run a tank with manual valves with no compressor as long as you fill it before you leave the house and don't get switch happy.

Re: air bag question

A lot of guys running schrader valves, and agreed with having a tank that is filled with your before you leave. I always suggest a small portable compressor to carry, just in case you need adjust and no air is around to do so.

Also, we have a 1/4" manual valve air management kit that sells for $575. It is one VIAIR 380C compressor and fill the tank up to 200 PSI. Just wanted to throw that out as an option. Here is a link so that you can see what all comes with this kit.

Re: air bag question

There are many way to "rig" a no frills air system. Simply running Schrader valves direct to bags on all four corners is not one I recommend. Thats great for increasing load capacity in the rear, but a recipe for frustration if you try to run it as a low budget air suspension.

Save till you can afford to do it right.
