TCI EZ TCU, a little info needed
I have a 1991 4l80e that I am putting in my 79 dually. I have searched the net and think I have the electronics nailed down, but I would sure like some input from someone that has actually done it.
So from what I have gathered so far( this is for the TCI EZ TCU )I require the following... 1. Throttle position sensor mounted to carb 2. EZ TCU hooked to HEI Distributor tach lead 3. EZ TCU hooked to + and - on battery 4. EZ TCU wired to + ignition source 5. Follow programming instructions Is this it or is there more to it? Also does it come with a harness or is that also required? Any help would truly be appreciated. I've got the driveshafts, crossmember, tcase, speedo and all the mechanical handled, done that c rap for years. But the e-tranny is a new game for me. I am taking pics as I go and will post a detailed build when its complete. I have searched the web and there seems to be no 1 stop for answers and build so after shes all up and running Ill stick it up on the forums, pics and all. Thanx in advance!!
