Gas tank leak

I had the fuel pump replaced, and most of the hoses. Filler hose was not replaced. Well the filler hose started to leak. The shop said all the hoses look good as well has the tank. He is now replacing the filler hose. Are the new filler hoses any good? They have to be cut to fit. If I sell the truck I don't want it leaking. Here is a pic of my truck.
