You can buy a new retainer from Novak conversions. http://www.novak-adapt.com/catalog/sm420_parts.htm It's not cheap. But for a few dollars more they'll machine your input shaft and send you the seal and retainer together.

There's also Ebay and other sources... the trans is called an "SM420."

If you know someone with a lathe have it brazed and turned to the right diameter. I've done it before.
