What to use for door jamb wiring?

Hy guys I am almost done with my build andm having trouble with door jamb wiring. I have to run wires for power windows and maybe speakers. There seems to be very little room between the door and the cab jamb. Wht are you guys using for loom. Pics would be great. I have already painted and don't want to screw this up.

Re: What to use for door jamb wiring?

not sure what year truck you have, but look at post #25 in my build for what i used on my 58.
i ran: power window, speaker, door solenoid and ground wires plus a door release safety cable thru my door looms.

Look at Kustombrads thread, he has a slick method using screen door springs.

Re: What to use for door jamb wiring?

Sorry I forgot to mention it is for a 52 pickup. Ogre, I read your thread this morning before I posted, you have a very slick setup. I was hoping for something a simpler. I will look at custombrads setup. Thanks for the replys guys.

Re: What to use for door jamb wiring?

Remember if you are doing power windows, the drivers side has more wires so needs a bigger loom to fit them in, my mistake, I started on the pass side first.

I'm not sure if they would work for speakers or not. I've never used them that way. It would be nice if they did but as soon as you open the door you lose the sound..

Re: What to use for door jamb wiring?

I've seen them used for speakers, the only downside, if it is one, is what parkwood mentioned about opening the doors and they go out til the door is closed.
