The K5-Blazer emblems on the fenders.

Was there ever another emblem below the K5-Blazer emblem on the fender such as a 4wheel drive emblem.

Also is the 8350 emblem always below the marker lights on the front fenders.

8-350 was on the 71-72... 8-350 was under the K-5 on the 69-70

'70 also has the "8-350" emblem under the "K5/Blazer" emblem if the 350 was ordered, and "4 wheel drive" is under the marker light.

I should have been more specific. On a 72 model was there any badges under the K5-Blazer?

The reason I ask is i have '72 about ready to go for paint and realized that i have two holes below where the k5 blazer emblem is. (was a pu fender)

you think I should I get them filled or put on a 4 wheel drive emblem there? Would the purists out there give me crap?

On a '72, there would be no emblem under the "K5/Blazer". The holes would be for a displacement emblem on another year truck or Blazer. I don't think the "4 Wheel Drive" emblems would fit the holes, but it might cover them up. I would just fill the holes.

I would fill the holes too. I had this same question about my 70 blazer. It was a 307 originally, so it only had a K/5 emblem then the 4 wheel drive emblem under the side marker. Then of course the CST on the doors. I now have a 350 engine in the blazer, but I decieded to just keep the emblems stock and not put the 8 350 under the K/5 blazer emblem. I think it would have way too many emblems with the "8 350" under the K/5. Just my 2 cents
