Re: Dash help???
The dash pad or the whole thing? The pad has screws above the glovebox, one on the side that you have to open the passenger door to see, and then it pulls toward you to release the tabs holding it down against the windshield.

Re: Dash help???
I think its just the pad that is cracked so I can replace it. I seen two, one located in the middle like above the ashtray holder and one above the glovebox.

Re: Dash help???
There should be four along the bottom of the dash pad on the passenger side above the ash try and glove box.
Mind you, this 1981-1987 I'm talking about here...

Re: Dash help???
Yeah they're all noticeable and can be removed without opening anything except the passenger door.

Re: Dash help???
There's only a screw on the passenger side, but it's on the side of the dash pad that you can't see when the door is closed. It's hard to miss.

Re: Dash help???
You also need to remove the instrument cluster bezel to get the dash out. About 10 screws total including the bezel under the steering column that connects to the instrument cluster bezel.
But before removing the instrument cluster bezel, you will need to remove the 4 screws holding down the length of the dash above the ashtray and the 1 screw on the passenger side with door open. You might also disconnect the vent behind the glove box. Once those are all out, the dash can lift up which then helps in the removal of the instrument cluster bezel. This is mainly to gain clearance for the upper vent once you start pulling it out.
