Good luck on your trip thinking about doing the same thing myself next month San diego, Ca to Martinez, Ca. I am in the Bay Area also. Not really sure of your set-up serpentine or v-belt, but I highly suggest take a set belts just a case they jump. Ignition module if you have hei (should be 4-pin) they are cheap just if the truck doesn't want to start on you. You will be fine with this set (Craftsman24 pc. 6 pt. Standard Easy Read 3/8 in. Dr. Socket Wrench Set $59.49) that will be plenty fits right behind the seat. (Craftsman12 pc. Standard 12 pt. Combination Wrench Set $25.49) that will take care of your tools. Extra water for you and the truck lol. little 5 gal gas can just in case. Piece of carboard if you have to get under the truck. You should be good though as long the truck is ready to roll.
