WTB: T-3 headlight(s)
Looking for a few 7" T-3 headlights. I actually only need one, but could use some spares too. I'm only interested in clean, unclouded, working bulbs. See the sample pic for what I want. Three prong, #2 - 12V above, lines in the triangle, with GUIDE / sealed beam below. Check your junk pile and let me know what you have and how much you want. A good bulb will get you at least $25, more if it deserves it.
Thanks, BP Last edited by oem4me; 10-07-2012 at 01:57 AM. |

Re: WTB: T-3 headlight(s)
To tell you the truth, I did not know new repros were $80 each. Kinda makes gambling on a used bulb less attractive unless they are cheap enough. I've had pretty good luck in the past with used bulbs so my offer of $25 for a clean, clear, tested bulb still stands.

Re: WTB: T-3 headlight(s)
Yeah, I should have remembered that. Had a 69 SS Chevelle when I was 18-20. Had a quad headlight setup...sorry. The Nova's did run the single lights though...might be another avenue to check.

Re: WTB: T-3 headlight(s)
Its not lines in the tri. It looks like a textured look.

Re: WTB: T-3 headlight(s)
My 63 aluminum grill has the OEM tr3 headlights and they have the lines in the triangle...so i believe those are the correct ones.

Re: WTB: T-3 headlight(s)
See if this works-I'm somewhat technically challenged at the moment; both have one cosmetic issue, one has a scratch, the other a small little round spot.

Re: WTB: T-3 headlight(s)
Thanks for those pics, but they are small enough that all I can tell is they are indeed light bulbs. I'll PM you my email. If you care to send the pics to me directly I may be able to see them full size. Thanks, BP

Re: WTB: T-3 headlight(s)
Got the pics. They are still tiny. I am interested, but I need to see how bad the flaws are. Anything beyond real minor stuff and I'll keep looking. Can't use bulbs that are foggy, shadowy, sandblasted, heavily scratched, etc.
Thank you, BP. |
