Gauge needles
Does any one know of a site that sells gauge needles for an 80 c10 or know of any interchangeable parts for the gauge needles. Thanks a lot.

Re: Gauge needles
Which ones are you looking for? It might be easier to hit a junkyard and get a whole new gauge instead....

Re: Gauge needles
I have had success taking the speedometer needle off by using my two fingers and placing even, upward pressure so that the needle comes straight off. I don't know about the other gauges but after watching a speedo shop do it, I was then comfortable doing it.
Go to a junkyard and pull one to do a test. If it breaks, at least it happened in the junkyard vs. your own gauge.....

Re: Gauge needles
I changed my speedo and tach to a early 70 camaro and changed all the other needles to match. Just pull um off and push um on. I would guess most 70s-80s GM guage needles will interchange

Re: Gauge needles
If it's the speedo, the hardest part is trying to get the needle back in the same location. I did a lot of trial and error with a gps before I got in the correct spot again.

Re: Gauge needles
Are there certain needles that will fit. I purchased a gauge set from eBay as parts but once I took the needles off that set it didn't match my gauges connection. My gauges have a metal piece that come up and my needles are hollow. The gauge set that i got from eBay the needles have a metal piece coming out and the gauges are hollow. Can someone assist me on this.
