Re: Interior... Any tips I should know?

Thanks guys... I makes a huge diff I still need to tweak some stuff.

If anyone else plans to do their seat upholstrey buy your own hog ring pliers "a good one" because while I was ripping out the seat belts and the carpet... My friend Jay was helping me with the bench seat, and all I could hear was him *****ing about how crappy the free one that came with the upholstrey was...

Wow, your interior looks great! It looks like the cloth dash cover does not lay totally flat. Will it flatten out after awhile? How is it attached?

I'm thinking of putting a cloth dash cover on my 76, which is the older style that has a dash pad that curves down over the front of the dash. The reason I want to cover it is cause it has about a 6-inch round indentation in the middle/front that looks like it was caused by someone's HEAD hitting it real hard. The backing foam got crushed and there are a couple of cracks.
I'm wondering if the cloth pad will hide this dent? I just want it to look decent, the rest of the interior needs a lot of work. Thanks!

Oh yeah I chose not to do the dash cap... And just went with a Dash Mat cover... I got it on ebay for 37 dollars I think... It's poly carpet and yes it will flatten out, they give you velcro to stick where you need... I have out any of the velcro on yet. Just letting the sun mold it to shape first.

Re: Interior... Any tips I should know?

Thanks guys... I'm really happy with the way the interior came out... I even drop a Digital Receiver in there... goodbye CD's Also put some 5.25" speakers in the doors, tweeters on the kick panels, a mono block amp, and a JL audio 8" sub... this *" JL sub comes in a micro ported box I paired it with a MTX amp with a 300 watt RMS rating and slams like a 12inch sub. I was lucky I got to hear one in a friend car before and I knew itwas perfect for behind the bench seat...

Just in case you guys wanted more info...
