newb says hi

long time lurker finally joined up. love the info the site has. im in the process of slowly but surely fixing up my 78 c20 work truck. so far ive got every light to work thats been fun ha! runs like a swiss watch at a tick over 100k. its going to need a clutch soon definatley alot easier then my old 80' 3/4ton 4x4!!

this is my 3rd 73-87 truck and my best running one so far! but i figured id say hi and post a pic or two of "the big green weenie"

what you cant see in the pictures on the passenger side, is the previous owner during our bad winter a few years back pulled out of a gas station and hit the box upside one of those nice concrete posts. so its not terrible but it aint purdy either. im thinking or just hanging a bedside on it as this box has very little rust compared to most around my area. this weekend ill be replacing the carrier bearing as well. im hoping that gets rid of the weird lurching/clanging that happens when you turn. funny thing is it only happens turning right! shes also stock as a rock. 350/4-speed w/ 3:73 posi

welcome from the tri-cities.
You should be able to find a decent bed for it. I see the them often on CL. Also search for pick-up bed trailers. i recently bought a nice dually bed trailer out of hermiston, even had a cab&chassis axle under it.
