Re: Golden nugget
Love the stance in the first pic. Is it on air? looks like you got all the typical rust out..

Love the 2wd project you have going, can't wait to see some more progress. What's the story behind the 2wd? Local?

Re: Golden nugget
Cool deal. Can't wait to see some more progress.
I'm assuming you notched the rear of the frame (?), did you have to cut the floor for the pumpkin to rise high enough to sit that low?

Re: Golden nugget
when i bought it the floor had been cut. it had four link and the frame had been notched. the air bags weren't on the front and it would not raise as high as i wanted in the back with the bags it had. there was not enough room for bigger bags and i was having problems finding a place to mount shocks and track bar, so i cut the notch out and re-did it put on the PB trailing arm and made a watts link. with the bags mounted on the arms it will go as low and raises to a better ride height.

Re: Golden nugget
is that watts link bolted to the axel tube? I like how the notch only goes into the cab a little bit, just enough you can still get a rear seat in there if you wanted to.

Re: Golden nugget
watts link is home made. the brackets are welded to the axle tube. it does un-bolt if the diff needs work. the back seat does fit over the notch, but it's gonna be close with the floor.
