Does anyone road race their truck?
Hello,
I was just curious to see if anyone has set up a truck for road (touring) racing. Chassis modifications, suspension setup, transmission type, engine choice, aerodynamics ( what little a truck has lol), safety and drivers position, etc. Thanks, Seth something like this: |

Re: Does anyone road race their truck?
This is an old post but I had to tell you about my autox fun with my lwb 67. My truck is lowered and has sway bars front and rear. All cpp stuff so nothing fancy. The first time I went I had a open diff and 20" rims on street tires. I was still was not the slowest. After that I got a posi and 17" autox tires and that made a world of difference. My advice would be to just go and try it in any car and you will be hooked. Then show up in your truck and make them all scratch their heads and wonder.
